Whitmer Declares Small Business Week; 13% Of Owners Don’t Think They’ll Survive Virus, Lockdowns
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued a press release this week declaring it Small Business Week in the state of Michigan.
The Small Business Association of Michigan conducted a survey of 600 small businesses in late May and early June. It found that 13% of the respondents did not believe they would survive the pandemic. Of the small businesses that responded, 31% said they were shut down by the governor’s executive orders as of June.
