Michigan Capitol Confidential has removed a story that reported statistics from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention that stated there were more pneumonia deaths than COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. The data from the CDC states “Counts of deaths involving pneumonia include pneumonia deaths that also involve COVID-19.” It was unclear how many deaths from pneumonia involved the coronavirus.
