Michigan No. 7 In US In Permanent Restaurant Closures
Michigan has experienced the seventh highest number of permanent restaurant closures in the nation, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Between March 1 through July 10, 569 Michigan restaurants closed their doors forever.
Here are the states that have seen the most restaurants closed:

6. Pennsylvania 570

From March to April of this year, jobs in Michigan's food services and drinking places industry fell from 315,300 to 145,000, a loss of 170,300 jobs, or 54%. As of June, the industry was back to 216,200 jobs.
