The state of Michigan had the nation's second highest unemployment rate for the month of April. Michigan's unemployment rate was 22.1%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Nevada has the highest rate at 28.2%. That state's 441 casinos have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
