Michigan Government First Stops Businesses, Then Subsidizes Some
There were 70,088 Michigan businesses impacted by epidemic lockdowns ordered by state government at some point in 2020, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
This week, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that nearly 6,000 small businesses split $52.5 million in grants from the “Michigan Small Business Survival Grant Program.”
