Michigan College Professors’ Political Contributions Resemble One-Party System
More than 94% of the contributions made by professors at seven Michigan state universities to candidates at the federal level went to Democrats, according to the news website The College Fix.
The College Fix reviewed contributions over a two-year period from professors at Grand Valley State, Michigan State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Oakland University, Wayne State, and the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor campus.
Professors at these universities have donated $421,196 to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and $37,615 to President Donald Trump, according to The College Fix.
