Michigan 12th-Most Restrictive State For COVID Policies
Michigan is the 12th-most restrictive state in the nation for COVID-19 government policies, according to WalletHub.
Vermont had the most restrictions while Iowa had the least.
The rankings were as of April 6. Michigan's ranking has moved eight places since March 2 as the state has risen in the most-restrictive rankings.
Yet, Michigan is experiencing a third wave of COVID-19 cases that many of the least-restrictive states have avoided.
WalletHub’s 13 metrics include the following: requirements to wear a face mask in public, travel restrictions, restrictions on large gatherings, school reopening and restaurant reopenings.
