High School Prom Planners Await Government Permission
Midland schools warn dancing may be banned
Midland Public Schools has delivered a mass email reporting uncertainty about whether its schools' annual proms will be allowed this year.
The school district’s email stated:
“Prom has not yet been scheduled. We hope to get the ‘go-ahead’ with the Governor’s next Executive Order on April 19th. As it stands, students attending prom would not be allowed to dance and would have to be seated 6' apart to listen to music. What fun is that?!”
