611,045 Vaccinated In Michigan; New Cases Plummet
On the day the first COVID-19 vaccine was administered in Michigan — Dec. 14 — the state reported 3,602 new confirmed COVID cases. There were also 3,760 COVID patients in hospitals and 860 in intensive care units.
As of Jan. 24, a vaccine dose had been administered to 611,045 people in Michigan. Overall, there have been 730,453 doses of the vaccine administered in this state. On Jan. 24, 1,505 new individuals tested positive for the disease, with another 1,630 COVID patients in the hospital and 387 in an ICU.
